    What is the InVintory MCP server?

    It is a Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini securely read and manage your InVintory wine collections on your behalf.

    Which AI clients can connect to it?

    Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, ChatGPT connectors on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans, and Gemini compatible clients.

    What is the server URL?

    The server URL is https://api.invintory.com/mcp. Add it in your AI client and choose OAuth as the authentication method.

    Is my collection data secure?

    Yes. The connection uses OAuth, so you sign in with your own InVintory account and the assistant only ever acts with the access you grant it. No password is shared with the AI client.

    What can an assistant do once connected?

    Once connected, an assistant can read and manage your wine collections, which means you can ask questions about your cellar and make updates in plain language instead of tapping through the app.
